“I cannot cure myself of that most woeful of youth’s follies — thinking that those who care about us will care for the things that mean much to us.”

D.H. Lawrence

I have a photograph that I took on April 28, 2011 that I love.  If you recall that year from April 25- 28, the US from Texas to the New York and then up to Southern Canada had 358 reported tornadoes  in that period.  Apparently the worst 4 days for tornadoes in weather history.

Anyway, I was out walking the river on the 28th when a powerful storm blew up. The sky and water turned a very peculiar color which is, I think, one reason people don’t like the picture. Here it is, just as it came out of the camera. No processing at all. Thoughts?
