I think now, even Kid Rock would admit he had things backwards.

“I do not believe that artists or actors and people should be out there like voicing their full-blown opinions on politics because, let’s face it, at the end of the day, I’m not that smart of a guy. I play Rock ‘n’ Roll, that’s what I do. Who would you trust to make your decisions, Donald Rumsfeld or the Dixie Chicks?”

I have been listening to The Dixie Chicks a lot these last few days. Those young woman were really good and tight. If they hadn’t been destroyed by the Bush cabal and its followers I think country music would be much better today than it is. The Chicks were hardly the worst casualty of the Bush disaster, that honor is split between the people of Iraq, our troops, and the our economy but they were a casualty none-the-less.
